International Palms Resort Photo Shoot: Tropical Inspiration!

Summer and fall weddings are around the corner, so check out this bridal photo shoot we organized for some tropical inspiration with International Palms Resort and Shinner Photography! For more information on the photo shoot, check out Beautiful Bride magazine that featured this shoot on the front cover!

The ceremony scene looked amazing and so did our model bride! Marigold Scott on Location Hair and Makeup took the model's natural looks and enhanced them. The dress, by Allure Gown from Minerva's Bridal, looked stunning as well.

The warm, tropical look was created by A Chair Affair's natural wood chiavari chairs for the ceremony and bamboo chairs for the reception area. The centerpieces, from Flowers by Lesley's, completed the reception look with floating candles and beautiful orange, red, and white flowers.

Kirby Rentals provided the fabulous taupe brown linens with burlap table runners on the square table settings.

Nannuk Media Group astounded us with the gorgeous table numbers and wedding stationary they created that coordinated perfectly with our tropical autumn theme.

I love participating in photo shoots and this one was no different! Working with these talented companies was a blast.

Cypress Grove Estate House: Pamela and Andrew's Outdoor Celebration!

Pamela and Andrew were such fun couple to work with! Their ceremony looked like an image from a fairytale, with Bagpipe Reginald Lyle providing the soundtrack as a nod to the bride's Scottish heritage.  And Cypress Grove Estate House's lake and gazebo, with it's billowing white curtains, made a picture-perfect backdrop.

The reception was just as beautiful, with lots of personal touches thanks to Pamela's love for all things Etsy! Lee Forrest Designs created whimsical red and yellow centerpieces in mix-n-match bottles and vases, and Rhodes Studios captured all the fun and beauty of the wedding in their photographs. Soundwave Entertainment's DJ helped everyone dance off the calories they ate, thanks to the awesome candy station, the wedding cake by Party Flavors Custom Cakes and Big City Catering's delicious food! Pamela and Andrew's first dance was amazing, thanks to Two Left Feet dance studio. Everyone had a great time, even after the unexpected rainstorm that drove everyone inside temporarily!

Romantic Photo Shoot at the Garden Chateau

This photo shoot was a dream to design and so much fun to work on. Everything looked beautiful and Wings of Glory Photography's pictures came out great! It was held at the stunning and new private estate/ event venue-  The Garden Chateau. We had a storybook backdrop to work with and the amazing team collaboration made this vision of beauty a reality.

The "couple" married under an arch of roses by Flowers By Lesley. To complete the vintage chic feeling, A Chair Affair used their picturesque church pews. Flowers By Lesley also provided the bride's and bridesmaid's stunning peony and rose bouquets. The bride's Alfred Angelo dress photographed amazingly from every angle and the groom looked snappy in his tuxedo by Absolutely Fitting.  The wedding party's hair and make-up, done by Kristy's On-Location Makeup Artistry & Hair Design, looked timeless and romantic.

Indoor and outdoor reception areas were set-up and both were equally beautiful. The indoor reception looked like something from a period film, with ivory linens paired with A Chair Affair's mahogany brown chiavari chairs,  Flowers By Lesley's white and pink centerpieces, and Weddings By 2 + Hue's accent pieces.

Flowers By Lesley did a remarkable job with all the centerpieces. The vintage candelabras filled with a variety of florals and candle accents really took our breath away.  A Chair Affair's farm tables paired with their signature chiavari chairs provided a unique foundation and seating option to the outdoor setting. Weddings By 2 + Hue's gold ornate picture frames acted as a perfect accent to Dogwood Blossom Stationary's gold with rose accents menus and invites.

The attention to detail on RW Chocolate Fountains' cake pops and cupcakes made them really stand out. The flowers on them were actually real, edible flowers dusted with sugar!  Not only were they stunning to look at, they tasted amazing as well!

Iva's Cake Place's towering ivory and rose cake looked fit for a queen and the individual hor d'oeuvres made by Bjoely Events Services were delicious.

This photo shoot turned out better than we ever could have hoped and everyone involved was just so talented! These extraordinary event professionals included:

Engagement Photos: What Do They Say About Your Personality?

Getting ready for your engagement photos? Trying to decide what kind of photos to take? Today we highlight some of our past couples and their engagement photos to get your creative wheels going in preparation for your engagement shoot!

When planning your engagement shoot, think about a theme that defines your personalities as a couple. What do you have in common?

What better way to showcase your love to your family and friends than through your engagement photos. Whether a romantic approach or fun and flirty, get inspired!

First up is Samantha and Malik. They collaborated with Concept Photography for a Romantic themed shoot.

Romance is for the bride that wants a traditional wedding. It states you appreciate aesthetics and like the simple and traditional, it is popular for a reason you know!

This picture is so stunning it looks like the cover of a romance novel.

Up next is Pamela and Andrew, who's a professional hockey player. Their style was a little different from our first couple. They teamed up with Rhodes Studios and did a Fun and Flirty styled shoot.

This is one of the cutest engagement photos we've ever seen! When guests look at a fun and flirty photo shoot, they get excited. That means this couple is having fun, loving life and guests know the wedding will be just as fun as the pictures!

Just because you do a fun and flirty shoot doesn't mean you can't sneak some romance in there. This photo, while fun and flirty, is romantic as well.

What's on your mind for your engagement shoot? We want to hear from you! What location encompasses your personalities as a couple? Share!

Congratulations again to Samantha & Malik and Pamela & Andrew! We had so much fun coordinating your weddings!
