Rosen Shingle Creek: Toshia and Jason's Warm and Cozy Winter Wedding

Toshia and Jason were such an awesome couple and I had an amazing time planning and designing their "warm and cozy winter wedding."  Toshia is originally from New Hampshire and winter is her favorite time of year, so when we designed her a wedding with a woodsy-cabin feel that reminded her home.

The bride, who said she never wears dresses or makeup, made an exception for her big day and the results were stunning.  I was there when she choose her dress and the second she tried on the gown by Melissa Sweet for David's Bridal, we knew it was the one.  Between that dress and her hair and make-up by The Makeover Maven, she was breathtaking!

We chose the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel for their ceremony and reception.  As guests arrived at the ceremony they were encouraged to sign fabric squares, instead of a guestbook, and Toshia would later sew the squares into a quilt.

The ceremony, which took place in the hotel's Sandlake Ballroom, was white, wintry and romantic.  The ceremony arch was decorated in baby's breath and twinkle lights and the aisle was lined with piles of white rose petals.

The woodsy-wintry theme continued in the reception and we added red to the color scheme to bring in the cozy feel.  Flowers By Lesley created the centerpieces and table-scapes, accented with pine-cones, river rocks, candles and wood. The escort cards, designed by Dogwood Blossom Stationary, were decorated with various winter items and woodland creatures and let guests know the name of their table.  And for something fun and different, the guests' menus featured a custom Mad-Lib on the back!

One of the wedding's highlights was the cakes!  The pig and panda cake topper from Etsy on the wedding cake was so adorable!  And the groom had his own cake representing his alma matar, FSU.

A-List DJ Entertainment kept everyone dancing way into the night! The newlyweds had a beautiful sparkler exit and the whole event was captured on film by Rhodes Studios

We wish Toshia and Jason the best and we were honored to work alongside such talented companies on their special day!

Historic Dubsdread Ballroom: Jessica and Josh's Country Chic Summer Wedding

Jessica and Josh wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, so they decided the next step was to get married and celebrate with their family and friends!  Their classically beautiful ceremony, held at the stunning Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown Orlando, reminded everyone the importance of the event.

Their country chic reception, held at the Historic Dubsdread Ballroom, felt like walking through a summer garden with Petals by Design's lovely sunflower and blue hydrangea centerpieces and hanging votives.  The mahogany brown chiavari chairs with white cushions and navy pintuck linens added to the elegant summertime feel.  Rhodes Studios captured the fun and importance of the day in their photos and Soundwave Entertainment kept the dance floor packed until the end of the night.

Working on this wedding was a blast! We'd like to acknowledge everyone that was involved!
